about

Sometimes you need to look back in order to move forward. Founded by DJ Ink in 1995 as an outlet for his solo and collaborative productions, Architecture Recordings has always been revered for pushing strictly the most futuristic sounds out of the Drum & Bass underground. The "Incision" LP, a collaborative effort between Ink, Kwest and J Dub under their Architex moniker was a collection of tracks encompassing the back and forth themes of light & dark, ruff & smooth as well as vintage & modern, all executed with a production precision that still holds up today.
Ink and the Architecture camp have been meaning to re-release this project for years, but sadly over the course of time the original masters were all but lost, that is, until now. After an exhausting search going back almost a decade, original digital copies were scoured for and obtained and now, a re-mastered version of the "Incision" LP is ready to be made available again.
We have the great pleasure of offering up this milestone album for old heads to revisit, and new converts to enjoy for the first time! Architecture Recordings, as always, is ahead of the curve, even when reaching to the past, deep within the archives .
